The Fredonia State Department of Athletics will induct five members into its Hall of Fame on Homecoming Weekend. Included will be Fredonia High School graduate Katie Bartkowiak (Women's Softball, 2013), Michael Domm (Men's Soccer, 1999); Megan (Mietelski) Michele (Women's Lacrosse, 2012); Ryan Fuller (Swimming and Diving, 2012); and Becky (Hebert) Clark (Women's Basketball, 2014).
Down 2-0 in the first period, the Fredonia State hockey team scored twice later in the first to tie the game at 2-all, as that score would hold up after a scoreless second, third, and overtime.

In the SUNYAC-opening contest, the Fredonia State men's basketball team took down SUNY Buffalo State University, 69-59, on Saturday. Keenan Roberts Jr. keyed the offense with 22 points, including 3-4 shooting from long range, and going 7-12 from the line.
As is usually the case, local SUNYAC rivals Fredonia State and SUNY Buffalo State University played a tight game until the Devils pulled away late for a 12-point, 70-58 victory at Buff State on Saturday. Fredonia State freshman Grace Alexander put up 23 points in the victory.
Xavier Fortin scored 48 seconds into overtime to give the Fredonia State men's hockey team a 4-3 victory at Brockport. Fortin, Ryan Bailey, and David Sudbrink were on the ice during the three-on-three. It was the first career goal for Fortin, a freshman defenseman.
