The Fredonia State men's swim team saw some positive results in its first meet since returning from winter training in Florida.

Alex Wright got things rolling with his victory in the 1,000-yard freestyle. He turned in a time of 11:51.65, defeating Brockport's Ryan Sampson by 20 seconds.

Wright was also third in the 200 free in 2:03.62, and later second in the 500 free (5:44.90).

Patrick McCone claimed three victories:
- 100 backstroke (55.73)
- 100 free (50.47)
- 400 IM (4:33.69)

Noah Wisniewski came in first in the 100 breast stroke (1:06.18), and second in the 100 butterfly (59.12).

"It was a great meet today," said Head Coach Bill Bradley. "It's always exciting to get back to competing after our hiatus of meets over winter break. It's a chance to see all the improvements we made to our swimming in practice during that time pay off in a meet. We saw lots of season best times and personal records today."
