The Fredonia State women's swim team won its first meet of the season at Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, 97-74. Megan Orrange led the Devils with a pair of first-place finishes.

"Megan had a really great day," said Head Coach Bill Bradley. "She executed her swims well, which earned us a pair of firsts in both of her individual events. We also had some very impressive and promising performances from our freshmen."

Among the 11 events, first-place finishers include:

Megan Orrange - 50 yard free - 27.65 and 100 free - 1:01.45
Cleo McDermott - 100 yard butterfly - 1:15.63
Hailey Thomson - 100 yard backstroke - 1:12.20
Angie May, Kaitlyn Burns, Alex Mecca, Ally Visconte - 200 yard medley relay - 2:37.22

"This was a very early meet for us," said Bradley, "but it was a great opportunity to see the work we've put in so far pay off. The improvements our swimmers have made in the first few weeks were evident in their swims today."
