Hoop it up!

On April 25, Dods Hall on the campus of SUNY Fredonia was home to the annual Dunkirk-Fredonia Unified Basketball Game. In front of a raucous crowd, the two teams battled it out for four quarters.

Men's Soccer Coach P.J. Gondek was the point person for the university. "The feedback from those in attendance including Fredonia and Dunkirk teachers and administrators was extremely thankful and positive," said Gondek. "This was again one of the top events of the year."

At halftime, the teams and the crowd participated in the Macarena, Electric Slide, Chicken Dance, The Wobble, and the Cupid Shuffle.

At the final buzzer, Fredonia walked away with a 36-33 win in the season opener for both teams. But more importantly, a good time was had by all.
