The Fredonia State hockey team is pleased to announce that Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 will be the date of this year's "Pink the Rink" game. That evening the Blue Devils will take on Morrisville State in an exciting NCAA Division III contest. The action will begin at 7 p.m. in Steele Hall Ice Arena.

It will be the 15th year for the "Pink the Rink" game. The Blue Devils will don their pink jerseys and socks for the event and once again, the authentic, game worn jerseys will be for sale with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The 2024 edition again will feature every name that has been on the back of a jersey sublimated into the jersey, which looks absolutely amazing.

This season the team is offering the same, popular way for the jerseys to be purchased. For the cost of $250, jerseys can be purchased. Once arrangements are made to buy the jersey, purchasers will be able to have the last name of a loved one printed on the back of the jersey. This generous tribute to a loved one will now be seen by all in attendance at the game. In other words, instead of the player having their name on the back of the jersey, there will be names of the donors' loved ones on the back of the jersey.

Coach Jeff Meredith noted, "We feel it will be an inspirational evening and are excited about joining in the fight against breast cancer."
