A variety of cultures from around the world that are part of the Fredonia campus will be in the spotlight at the fifth annual Global Banquet, hosted by International Student Services and the International Club, on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

The program will feature musical selections and dances performed by international students enrolled in arts programs, as well as food representing cuisine from various countries, prepared by Faculty Student Association staff.

There will also be performances by Tianxiao Wang, piano; Shu Huang, dulcimer and Kuanli Zhang, violin, all of China; and others. A theme basket raffle will also be conducted.

Proceeds will benefit international student scholarships. Tickets are $2 for Fredonia students and $20 for community members and can be purchased at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center.

Organizations participating in the banquet, which is open to the campus community and the public, include International Student Services, International Club, Intercultural Center and the Faculty Student Association.
