The Fredonia State basketball team exploded for 112 points in a 112-97 victory over visiting Allegheny College on Nov. 8.

The 209 combined points is an all-time high in Blue Devil history. Malik Jemison led the Devils with 31 points on 11-13 shooting, and added eight assists.

Freshman Derek Reed added 13 points and five assists and Amir Ross added 12 points. AJ Judd was the only other Devil in double digits with 10 points.

The teams battled to a 51-all tie at the half, with both teams shooting over 55 percent from the floor.

The Devils did not slow down in the second half, outscoring Allegheny 61-45. They scored the first seven points of the half and never looked back.

Leading 61-59, the Devils went on a 21-7 run with eight different players contributing in the scoring column to take command of the game. Their largest lead came with just under two minutes to go. Jemison nailed threes on three-straight possessions that ended a 9-1 run putting the Devils up 21 points, 105-84.

The Devils nailed 12 three pointers, and the Gators hit three long-range buckets. The Devils went 16-26 from the line compared to 24-33 for the Gators.

Allegheny had six players in double digits, led by Ryan Lang's 20. Preston Turk and Andre Wilder had 15 apiece.
