Tim Frerichs to discuss Fulbright experience

The International Brown Bag Lunch Series presents "Smart Cars and a River Named Rabbit, on  Monday, Feb. 4, from noon to 12:50 p.m. in the English Reading Room (Fenton Hall Room 127. 

In the fourth of a series of presentations by Fredonia Fulbright recipients, Tim Frerichs (assistant professor, Visual Arts and New Media) will present his experiences teaching at the Universität Osnabrück, Germany through a Senior Fulbright Lecture Award last semester (Fall 2007).

Professor  Frerichs will discuss his experience teaching studio art courses at this Germany University, observations of the Bologna accord transition, and living with his family in Osnabrück. 

He will also discuss his professional work and upcoming art exhibit in Osnabrück resulting from the experience.

Strauss to conduct area concerts

Dr. Robert Strauss will conduct the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus in “ WALK TOGETHER,” a concert to be performed at three sites in May and featuring “Tyler’s Suite,” a nine-song cycle about the life and death of Tyler Clementi, as well as songs from, or about, Buffalo, NY.
