Technology incubator to host reception for North Shore Arts Alliance exhibition

An opening reception for a new art exhibition that showcases America’s national parks, exotic beaches and world destinations – as well as local landscapes – will be held at the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk, on Wednesday, June 7, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The incubator’s inaugural summer exhibition will present approximately 50 paintings, photographs and works of art on paper by 11 members of the North Shore Arts Alliance. Participating artists include Diane Andrasik, Thomas Annear, Audrey Dowling, James East, Debra Eck, Nancy Nixon Ensign, Christine French, Ronnie Lafferty, Barbara Del Monte, Cecelia Ivy Price and Lisa Schultz.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists at the reception. Refreshments will be served. There is no admission fee to attend the gathering or to view the exhibition, which opens on Monday, June 5. Reservations for the reception that creates an opportunity to bring together artists, entrepreneurs and community members can be placed online or at the incubator’s website.

Regular viewing hours at the exhibition, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., continue through July 7.

The North Shore Arts Alliance is a not-for-profit cooperative marketing, promotional and membership organization working on behalf of artists in Chautauqua County to foster an environment where art strengthens the county’s image, economic vitality, and quality of life.
