Jacob D. Guinn giving two-day workshop on stage combat

SUNY Fredonia Performing Arts Company invites everyone to a free two day event on stage combat. Jacob D. Guinn, at right, known for his experience as an actor, fight director and stage combat instructor, will be giving workshops Friday and Saturday on campus. He will be teaching participants the technique and skill of "unarmed choreography" Friday, Feb. 15 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 16 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. in the Dods Hall gymnasium.

Guinn has experience in training and performing stage combat fighting. He is a stage combat instructor and has choreographed and taught workshops in both Louisiana and Arkansas. Guinn has been the assistant fight director for the show “Unto these Hills” and Tony Award winning “Cincinnati Playhouse”.

Guinn is a Senior Theater major with an emphasis in Movement at Louisiana Tech University.
