Dr. Ellen Litwicki, professor of History at SUNY Fredonia, was a panelist at the SUNY Conversations in the Disciplines conference held Nov. 17 at the University of Albany.

“The Present & Future of Public History in New York” was the theme of the session, which brought together both state university faculty and professionals in the field of public history. Dr. Litwicki was part of a panel discussion titled "Training Future Public Historians."

Dr.Litwicki is an expert on the history and significance of American cultural rituals of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She teaches courses on American cultural history and the Gilded Age/Progressive Era history.

Dr. Robert Strauss will conduct the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus in “ WALK TOGETHER,” a concert to be performed at three sites in May and featuring “Tyler’s Suite,” a nine-song cycle about the life and death of Tyler Clementi, as well as songs from, or about, Buffalo, NY.
