Business Graduate hired by Gap

Kevin M. ScullyKevin M. Scully, Dec. 07 graduate of the School of Business (B.S. marketing with a minor in communications), has accepted a position with Gap, Inc., as the New York City regional assistant for the Old Navy division. Since graduation, Mr. Scully has been doing freelance work for Marc Jacobs and Estee Lauder’s (Origins) Global Communications Department. He interned at Gap Inc. corporate headquarters in San Francisco last summer.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Scully was comptroller of the Student Association for the 2006-07 year. He was also president of the American Marketing Association, and served on many other administrative committees.

His academic achievements resulted in his receiving several scholarships, including the Dallas K. and Elizabeth W. Beal Scholarship and the Fredonia Alumni Association Scholarship.

He was an honor's student and a member of the Dean's List.

Department of Business Administration Professor Mojtaba Seyedian is a co-author of a book chapter, “Consumption Preferences and Utilities,” in the book “Systemic Principles of Applied Economic Philosophies: Producers, Consumers, and the Firm."

Strauss to conduct area concerts

Dr. Robert Strauss will conduct the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus in “ WALK TOGETHER,” a concert to be performed at three sites in May and featuring “Tyler’s Suite,” a nine-song cycle about the life and death of Tyler Clementi, as well as songs from, or about, Buffalo, NY.
