The role of the free press in the Trump era will be explored and perhaps even scrutinized by Los Angeles Times journalist Scott Martelle, a 1984 Fredonia graduate, during a Writers@Work residency on Sunday through Tuesday, March 24 to 26.
The relatively little known role that Africans played in World War I will be explored by Indiana University professor Dr. Michelle Moyd in a talk, “Radical Potentials, Conservative Realities: African Veterans’ Politics after World War I,” on Monday, March 25, at 6 p.m.
A guest artist recital featuring music composed by Dr. Karl Boelter, former director of the School of Music, along with selections by other composers, will be held on Sunday, March 24, at 6 p.m., in Rosch Recital Hall.

Two Fredonia faculty members are among recipients of the 2018-2019 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching, a system-wide honor that recognizes consistently superior teaching at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels.
