Fredonia Jazz Society resumes performances virtually
Three of the Fredonia School of Music’s jazz faculty, including the head of Jazz Studies, Dr. Nick Weiser, John Bacon on drums, and Elliott Scozzaro on saxophone, as well as Fredonia undergraduates, will be featured during a Nov. 12 performance hosted by the Fredonia Jazz Society.
Weiser participates in bassists convention
Assistant Professor Nick Weiser of the School of Music, who is also the coordinator of Jazz Studies, performed in the digital world premiere of Nicholas Walker's "Sonata for Contrabass and Piano" at 2020 International Society of Bassists Convention.
Hanlon named to Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra
Double bassist and School of Music Assistant Professor Kieran Hanlon has been invited to join the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra.
