The Department of Theatre and Dance is seeking three children for its spring production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic. The three roles to be cast are: Kurt (age 9 to 12), Marta (age 7 to 9) and Gretl (age 5 to 7). All girls auditioning must be between the ages of 5 and 10 and be less than 4’9” tall. All boys auditioning must be between the ages of 9 and 13 and be less than 5’2” tall.

On Saturday, Sept. 11, the School of Music is hosting a celebration in honor of emeritus piano professor Robert Jordan on his 70th birthday.
