Women's and Gender Studies senior capstone to hold a 'Jog for Justice'

Students in the Women's and Gender Studies program senior capstone course, Gender and Social Change, are holding a, "Jog for Justice 3k Fun Run," on Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m., as their community engagement project. There is a $10 registration fee for participants which will include refreshments and a t-shirt for the first 200 people who register. All are welcome to participate in this event.

Ribbon-cutting held for Veterans’ Lounge in Nixon Hall

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held April 18 for the Veterans’ Lounge in Nixon Hall, set aside for student veterans and dependents of military service members enrolled at SUNY Fredonia. The dedicated space for study, socializing and programming events was established to better assist a growing number of student veterans, service members and their families in the transition from military to college life.

Fredonia students go 'Bald for Bucks'

Much of the floor of the Williams Center Multipurpose Room will be covered with hair for “Bald for Bucks,” a fundraiser being staged by Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Sigma Kappa sorority and the Sophomore Class, on Tuesday, April 29, at 6 p.m., to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
