Walkers and donors are invited to take part in the& 5th Annual Out of the Darkness Walk to be held Saturday, Oct. 4. The walk is sponsored nationally by the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. Last year, 297 walkers participated in the walk at SUNY Fredonia, and raised $5,700. The goal is to exceed past participation and donations. Anyone unable to walk who wishes to donate, should make a donation online in the name of Dr. Dani McKinney, captain of the Fredonia Walkers. Gifts in Dr. McKinney's name will be credited to the all-campus team.
