Student options for voting in the general election

On Nov. 6, citizens of New York State will be choosing a governor, a U.S. Senator, all their members of the U.S. House of Representatives, and all members of the New York State Senate and Assembly. A sheriff will also be elected in Chautauqua County. Students have two ways to vote in the general election: by mailing an absentee ballot to their home county board of elections or by registering and voting in person in Fredonia.

Fredonia launches donation campaign to benefit food pantry

Fredonia will host the Feeding Fredonia Challenge, a town-wide food donation drive to assist the Fredonia Food Pantry, from Monday through Friday, Oct. 15-19. Donations of non-perishable food can be placed at various campus locations.

Nationwide wireless emergency TEST on Wednesday

Cell phones across the Fredonia campus - and across the country - will receive a message during a nationwide wireless emergency alert TEST this week. The TEST is scheduled for 2:18 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3. When you receive this message, you do NOT need to call University Police. There is more information about this national test in this article on FEMA's website.

What to look forward to during Welcome Week

Giant board games, the first-ever “Go Blue Spirit Night” and screening of the blockbuster “Black Panther” under the stars will usher in the new academic year during Welcome Week at Fredonia. All events are free to Fredonia students and faculty.
