College of Education Associate Professor Guangyu Tan wrote a review of “Transgressing Teacher Education: Strategies for Equity, Opportunity and Social Justice in Urban Teacher Preparation and Practice” that was published in the February issue of Teachers College Record.

Teachers College Record is a monthly peer-reviewed academic journal of education published by EdLab, an education research organization at Teachers College, the graduate school of education at Columbia University.
