Relieve end-of-semester anxiety with ‘De-stress for Success’ and other activities

A series of events and activities designed to help students reduce anxiety in a healthy, productive way to gain added focus to succeed as the fall semester winds down will be rolled into De-Stress for Success, starting on Monday, Dec. 5, and continuing through Thursday, Dec. 14.

All events are free, begin at 11 a.m., will be held in the new Blue Lounge in Williams Center Room G138. They will continue while supplies last.

Students can choose from among the following:

  • Stress Relief Slime – Make your own custom slime; Monday, Dec. 5, and Tuesday, Dec. 13.
  • Color, Craft and Sip – crafts, coloring kits and tea; Tuesday Dec. 6, and Thursday, Dec. 15.
  • Paws to Relax – Come pet and play with a certified therapy dog; Wednesday, Dec. 7, and Monday, Dec. 12; from 11 a.m. to noon.
  • Calm Down and Warm Up – Hot cocoa packets and hand warmers; Thursday, Dec. 8, and Wednesday, Dec. 14;
  • Healthy Bites – Healthy snacks on the go; Friday, Dec. 9.

The Student Association’s Spectrum’s exam study breaks, furnishing study supplies and snacks, will be held in the Williams Center, next to the Help Hub, on Monday, Dec. 5, from 2 to 3 p.m.; Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 1 to 2 p.m.; and Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 3 p.m.

The Health Center Food Pantry in LoGrasso Hall, stocked with perishable and non-perishable food items, will be open from Monday, Dec. 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., through the end of the fall semester.
