Department of Communication Assistant Professor Mike Igoe was interviewed by area radio stations WBEN 930 AM, Buffalo, and WDOE 1410 AM, Dunkirk, about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Mr. Igoe was scheduled to teach in China during the Spring Break but cancelled his trip. That action came before New York state decided to restrict certain foreign travel.

Igoe taught journalism in China for three years and has been back to the country on four occasions to instruct foreign students.
