A string of a dozen planned Meet-Ups that began on move-in day will continue in September. The next event, an introductory aerobics class, taught by skilled instructors, will be conducted on Monday, Sept. 13, at 4 p.m. in the Hemingway Hall Aerobic Center.

Classic card games, along with some newer, spicier games such as Exploding Kittens, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m., at Starbucks. Attendees will pay for their own drinks, though three Starbucks gift cards will be given away as door prizes.

Assorted board games will be played simultaneously and s’mores served on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. in the Alumni Hall main lounge.

Meet-ups, a Fredonia tradition since 2015, are low-risk, organic, informal and mostly free of charge ways to connect with fellow students. They’re open to all students and sponsored by Residence Life and partially funded by the Faculty Student Association. More details are available on the Fredonia events calendar and meet-ups website.
