Matching grant transforms performing arts productions
College of Visual and Performing Arts students set up one of the new projectors in Marvel Theatre.
ABOUT THE NURTURING INNOVATION CAMPAIGN
Things have changed dramatically in Fredonia's College of Visual and Performing Arts. Funding from Fredonia alumni and friends, matched by a grant from the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation, allowed for the purchase and installation of state-of-the-art scenic projection equipment.

The 3 Panasonic projectors each have more than three times the projection power of the college's previous projectors. This equipment acquisition allows Theatre Arts and Music students the experience of training and learning on this exciting new technology that is taking the industry by storm. Additionally, these projectors allow Fredonia to drastically reduce its production costs by providing an alternative to set design and construction.
