Office of Engagement and Career Development Interim Director Chris LaGrow received honors from two career services organizations during the past month.

On June 1, the board of the Western New York Association of College Career Centers (WNYACCC) gave Mr. LaGrow the Significant Contribution Award in recognition of his many years of leadership on the WNY Career & Internship Fair and Teacher Recruitment Day committees and on the executive board. 

The SUNY Career Development Organization (SUNYCDO) honored LaGrow with the President's Award for Outstanding Leadership and Dedication on June 15. Over the last five years in that organization, LaGrow has served as treasurer, president, professional development chair and conference chair.

Marrazzo conducts master classes

School of Music Assistant Professor Don Marrazzo gave a master class at Houghton University and also did a two-day residency at Detroit Opera to work with members of the Resident Artist Program.
