The Fredonia men's swimming and diving team finished in sixth place on the final day of the SUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday. Christian Krasnek (Springville/Springville Griffith Institute) won the 3m board to conclude the meet. The junior scored 585.25 during the competition. Patrick McCormick (Grand Island/Canisius) finished eighth with a score of 451.15.

Jacob Favret (Watertown/Watertown) and Charlie May (East Aurora/East Aurora) were the top swimmers, each earing a ninth-place finish.

Favret touched in a time of 2:12.19 in the 200 breast stroke. May was ninth in the 200 back stroke in 1:57.85. Drew Page (Avon, N.Y./Avon) was one spot behind him in 2:00.11.

Jonah Adeson (Queensbury/Queensbury) finished 14th in the 200 fly in 2:02.98.

Zachary Dean (Rushville/Marcus Whitman) was 15th in the 1650 free on 17:33.45.

The final swim event for the men was the 400 free relay. The Devil quartet of Cameron Criss (Plattsburgh/Plattsburgh), Robert Atwood (Avon, N.Y./Avon), Favret, and Page finished sixth in 3:21.73.
