Danielle Jacobs, a senior from Homer, N.Y., has been named Resident Assistant of the Month for October in recognition of her leadership within the Office of Residence Life. She was nominated for the honor by Residence Director Pat Toscano.

Ms. Jacobs has successfully developed programs that help to better connect students residing in University Commons and Gregory Hall. Passive lobby programming and door-to-door deliveries to students are among ideas she has implemented. Positive and professional describe how she carries out her duties.

“Danielle has been heavily involved with RAAB (Resident Assistant Advisory Board) over the past few semesters. I’d like to think that she sets an example for other RAs within the department by being consistently involved and interested in her position,” Mr. Toscano said.

Jacobs is majoring in Biology and has a minor in Chemistry.
