Incubator to present value proposition workshop

A value proposition seminar that covers frameworks for business value propositions, how to ask better questions and how to define market-winning products will be presented by David Thiemecke, who leads the Buffalo Innovation Seed Fund, on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 2 p.m., for the Fredonia Technology Incubator’s Entrepreneurial Education Program.

The education series provides entrepreneurs with useful, hands-on information and an opportunity to ask questions of leading experts in their field, said Incubator Director Chuck Cornell. “These high quality, accessible and interactive events are a key part of our services and programming we provide at the incubator,” he said.

Mr. Thiemecke is a co-founder, with two exits, of 12 software-powered, bootstrapped companies over 22 years with the same team. He brings experience across nearly all roles from his firms that served home services, health IT, education, venture capital, light manufacturing, legal marketing and nonprofits. Thiemecke also contributes to the Cultivator on the Startup Ventures team at the State University at Buffalo.

The incubator, an economic development program of SUNY Fredonia, works with external partners to promote economic growth by supporting entrepreneurship and development of new, innovative companies into successful business ventures. It provides administrative and business services, mentoring, networking, professional consulting, education opportunities such as workshops, access to capital and work-ready space.
