“Cirque-Tacular’s North Pole Nonsense” opens Rockefeller Arts Center’s Kaleidoscope Family Series.

The Kaleidoscope Family Series opens with a show designed to amaze and put audiences in the holiday spirit at the very same time.

Rockefeller Arts Center presents “Cirque-Tacular’s North Pole Nonsense” on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. in Marvel Theatre.

Tickets are available through the Campus Ticket Office, by phone at 716-673-3501 and online.

Cirque-tacular is a New York City-based performing arts company that focuses on shows that feature elite specialty and acrobatic talent. Among its creative staff are world record holders, Olympians, grand champions, and some of the most respected American Circus performers working today. They have produced four Off-Broadway shows, and a dozen touring and regional productions.

“North Pole Nonsense” is Cirque-Tacular’s children’s Christmas show, full of acrobatic antics, a giant polar bear, glow-in-the-dark lightning bugs and a dancing snowman.

Topping it all off are wooden soldiers attempting great aerial skills and a dancing Santa who steals the show. Feats of aerial, dance and ground acrobatics are centered on the Christmas spirit.

The Kaleidoscope Series is sponsored by The Observer and The Post-Journal as part of the Lake Shore Savings Season.
