Denton shares research at psychotherapy association conference

Department of Psychology Assistant Professor Lisa Denton presented research at the annual conference of the American Group Psychotherapy Association in New York City on March 6.

Dr. Denton joined a panel of presenters for an open session, “Growth and Renewal: Building Our Group Training Programs from the Bottom Up.” She reported results of two research studies on the role of training and expertise in the success of group therapy programs. The research was funded by a grant from the Group Foundation for Advancing Mental Health, which Denton was awarded in 2018.
