Fredonia's 2020 Commencement ceremonies have been rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8. Interim President Dennis L. Hefner made the announcement in an email to the campus community Monday.

Members of Fredonia's Class of 2020 received a survey of various dates as alternatives to the originally planned date of May 16. The vote was overwhelming in favor of Aug. 8.

"This option received four times the number of votes than second place, which was the Saturday of Homecoming," Dr. Hefner wrote in his email.
