Dr. Heeyoun Cho

Music Therapy Assistant Professor Heeyoun Cho has won the 2022 Research Grant Award from the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Music Therapy Association for the research proposal, "The effectiveness of music-based interventions on college students' stress management."

The objective of the research study is to examine the effectiveness of three music-based interventions, including music instruction, therapeutic singing and music listening, on decreasing the stress levels of college students.

Dr. Cho plans to conduct the study on the Fredonia campus in the Fall 2022 semester.
