Grace Breen has been named “Resident Assistant of the Month” for November.

Ms. Breen is in her second semester as a resident assistant at Hemingway Hall. Her supervisor, Residence Hall Director Jill Swanson, nominated Breen, and noted “Grace is never afraid to go the extra mile. She knows most, if not all, residents in the hall as well as their needs. She wants to make sure she is supporting her fellow staff members with any difficulties they may have and help all residents have the best experience possible. Grace is an educator even if it is unintentional, and continuously wants to help others be better.”

Breen shared her knowledge and presented at the SUNY Brockport RA Conference to help educate other residence life staffs on the needs of residents in regards to dietary restrictions. Ms. Swanson noted that Breen remains positive in even the toughest times and is an asset to the Residence Life team.
