Summer Transition Checklist for
In order to be prepared to attend Fredonia for the Fall 2018 semester, you must make sure to complete these checklist items. Please be mindful of important dates and deadlines!

*There are no upcoming Jump Start Dates for 2018. Anyone who did not attend a Jump Start day will receive information on attending a Tools for Learning workshop, opportunity to meet with an advisor, and receive their FREDCard on Friday, August 24.
The Academic Advising Office creates a preliminary course schedule for each new student. You may view this schedule in Your Connection beginning on June 15. Schedule adjustments may only be made at a Summer Jump Start day.
Students will be able to pick roommates either by name or other variables such as major, age, etc. Log into Your Connection and into your My Housing Profile, and complete the Roommate Matching portion from May 1 - June 22. No roommate requests will be honored after June 22 at 4:00 p.m. Students will receive their housing assignments during the first week of August.
All students who have completed a FAFSA and are accepted to Fredonia will receive a Financial Aid Award Letter. This letter outlines the financial assistance available to you at Fredonia. Please follow the instructions on the Award Letter to accept/decline federal work study and student loans. Questions regarding this process can be directed to the Office of Financial Aid at (716) 673-3253.
It is very important to log into your FREDMail account daily to stay up-to-date on critical information while you are a student at Fredonia. You can find your login credentials in Your Connection under your Personal Information Tab. You will see your eServices User ID and Password under the usernames and passwords area.
We must receive official final transcripts showing successful completion of your current studies. You will also want to send any AP, IB, CLEP or college coursework you have completed in High School. Official college transcripts and test scores can be addressed directly to:

Fredonia does not send out paper billing statements; however, students desiring a paper statement can print their own through the TouchNet eBill system. Your bill will be available to view around July 24 in Your Connection and can be paid through TouchNet. You may visit the Student Accounts Office website for more information on how to pay your Fall 2018 eBill.
*Don't get a late fee - Pay your bill by AUGUST 15*
New students move into their campus residence halls on Thursday, August 23 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
There will be a Welcome Tent near the Williams Center during this time to assist new students and families, as well as a Picnic with the President beginning promptly at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, August 24 - Sunday, August 26
New Student Orientation is three days of workshops, activities, and events to assist students in preparing to live and learn on campus. There are both optional and mandatory sessions and activities throughout these three days. Program components include:
● Official introduction to the campus community
● Academic Advising sessions
● Navigate the campus spaces (find classrooms, dining halls, etc.)
● Exposure to academic and personal support services
● Build relationship networks
● Participate in campus traditions
