The most heavenly of musical sounds – a room full of harps – will be presented by musicians of all ages in the grand finale concert that culminates the annual Harp Day at SUNY Fredonia in Mason Hall Room 1080 on Sunday, April 28.

The 4:30 p.m. concert in the large rehearsal hall caps an informal day of rehearsals and an inspiring guest recital is free and open to the public. A variety of ensemble music from folk songs to a polka will be performed by more than 20 harpists.

“Maybe you’ve heard a harp before, but chances are, you’ve never heard more than 20 harps playing together,” said harpist and School of Music Adjunct Lecturer Sonja Inglefield.
