The workshop will look at the different types of questions types, building an assessment, importing questions, and managing completion and grading of the assessment.
OnCourse Assignments (Digital Drop Boxes)
OnCourse uses the activity "Assignment" to create a digital drop box in a course. These Assignments can be used to collect papers or other digital content to be graded and commented on, and then returned to the student. Assignments are linked directly to the OnCourse gradebook for easy transfer of grades. This one hour session will show how to create and use an OnCourse Assignment.
Advanced Forums (Discussion Boards)
Adding a discussion board to a course can increase participation and check for knowledge of a topic. OnCourse uses the activity "Advanced Forum" to create discussion boards in a course. This workshop will demonstrate the creation and usage of an Advanced Forum as well as grading, if the discussion is a graded forum.
OnCourse Open Forum
