Annual Security Awareness Training Program (ASATP)

OVERVIEW

To comply with SUNY, NYS, and US laws, Fredonia gives an ASATP for all workers to attend.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• Learn about policies on keeping info secure, also common threats, response to threats and ways to do tasks.
• Make the campus comply with SUNY, NYS, and US mandates.
• Access the training courses with their eServices User I.D. and can take the training.
• Training topics are tailored to address certain people. 
• Quiz questions to test the learner's knowledge
• Directors, HR, and the Information Security Office (ISO) are told if the worker will comply. 

All employees have to say they have read and agree to comply with our rules once per year.

Acceptable Use Policy - This over rules certain sections of the Computer & Network Usage Policy. 

Information Management and Cyber Security Policy 

All employees who are asked to handle payment cards or supervise those that handle payment cards, must:  

• Comply with all payment card rules.
• Complete a training course once per year.
• Say they have read our policies.
• Complete documents for Merchant Services once per year.
