A series of events and activities designed to help students reduce anxiety in a healthy, productive way to gain added focus to succeed as the fall semester winds down will be rolled into De-Stress for Success, starting on Monday, Dec. 5 through Thursday, Dec. 14.
Hanging of the Greens, a favorite holiday tradition at SUNY Fredonia, will be held at the Williams Center Multipurpose Room on Thursday, Dec. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Kathleen Wiant, whose world was changed forever upon the death of her son in a fraternity hazing incident at Ohio University in 2018, will give a presentation on hazing that’s designed for club leaders, Greek Life representatives, groups, teams and faculty and staff who advise or coach students.

Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education teaches how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Two trainings will be offered per month from November 2022 through May 2023. Virtual and in-person options are available.
