Lake Shore Savings Bank is marking 15 consecutive years as the season-wide sponsor for the Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center at SUNY Fredonia.

The Dunkirk-based financial institution has made a $12,000 commitment to support performing arts programs for the 2021-22 season.

Rockefeller Arts Center Director Jefferson Westwood noted the unwavering support of Lake Shore Savings meant more than ever before as programming resumed in 2021-22 after being interrupted by the pandemic.

“We were able to open our doors again this season from a strong financial position thanks in part to Lake Shore Savings Bank and its commitment to the performing arts in our community,” he said.

Originally chartered in 1891, Lake Shore Savings has grown to include 11 branches through Chautauqua and Erie counties. Its corporate headquarters are located at 131 East Fourth St. in Dunkirk.
