Bernhard to serve as mentor at music teacher education symposium

Music Education Professor Christian Bernhard will serve as a mentor to graduate students and junior faculty at the upcoming National Symposium of the Society for Music Teacher Education.

His mentoring sessions will address the topic of work-life balance and include information from his recent book, “Managing Stress in Music Education,” published by Routledge.

Dr. Bernhard will also present results from his latest research study, “Investigating Happiness and Gratitude of Music Majors During a Global Pandemic.”

The virtual event, whose theme is “Revitalizing Our Community,” will be held on Sept. 23-25. More information is available online.
