Finance Program at Fredonia

Fredonia’s Finance degree program prepares students to be career-ready by developing skills that employers require, such as oral and written communication, and critical thinking. You will be prepared to plan, manage, and analyze financial and monetary aspects of business enterprises, banking institutions, or not-for-profit organizations. You will be instructed on accounting, financial instruments, capital budgeting, funds acquisition, asset and debt management, financial analysis, and investments.

The Fredonia Difference

Internships are required in Fredonia’s Finance degree program. You can be active in a professional setting as early as your junior year. You can also participate in business clubs as early as your first year. ENACTUS, Fredonia's entrepreneurial student organization, has consistently competed, and won awards, at a national level. Accounting degree and finance degree majors participate in a “Meet the Professionals Night” annually where they speak one-on-one with firms and companies about internship and job opportunities.
