Psychology Mentoring Program

The Psychology Department has a peer mentoring program for all incoming students during the Fall semester.  New students are matched with an advanced student who can provide support for the transition to Fredonia, convey information about campus resources, and facilitate academic success.  Mentees are given the opportunity to meet one-to-one with their mentor and attend department-sponsored events throughout the semester.

Interested in Mentoring?

Mentors are Juniors/Seniors who have studied for several semesters at Fredonia as a Psychology Major.  They complete a 1-credit seminar course that provides training and support for the mentoring role.  The seminar also discusses professional issues surrounding mentoring relationships. For more information, contact the Psychology Department Chair.
