Scene Shop Supervisor Maximillian B. Zorn graduated from the Theater, Arts and Film Conservatory in the Design/Tech department at SUNY Purchase College in 2007 with a BFA in Technical Direction/Production Management. Before he started his junior year in college he became the Technical Director/Production Manager for The Bristol Valley Theater Company, a summer stock theater, in Naples, NY.
In between that standing gig he has worked in multiple facets of the entertainment industry, from producing special effects for Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular and fabricating indoor waterfalls for corporate product launches while working with Shock Studios Inc., to building, installing and running huge theatrical productions at Syracuse Stage, (http://www.syracusestage.org) in his home town of Syracuse, NY.
He takes his work seriously and expects nothing but perfection from those he works with and teaches. He has extensive knowledge of theater carpentry and other theatrical technologies. He considers technical theater to be a passion as well as a career path.
