Italy: Renaissance Arts of Florence

Course Number/Name:  INED 299 Arts in Italy or ARTH 290 Arts in Italy

Course Description:  The Department of Visual Arts and New Media at Fredonia is offering the opportunity to study Renaissance painting, sculpture, and architecture for sixteen days based in Florence with day trips to Fiesole, Siena, Arezzo, and Cinque Terre.  Italy is the essential destination for students of Renaissance art and architecture  with its world-class museums, Roman architecture, and Medieval and Renaissance towns. Follow in the footsteps of Michelangelo, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Brunelleschi, Dante, and Donatello and discover the rich cultural heritage of Italy.  This is an adventure of a lifetime!
