Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME)

FLAME

FLAME was founded in 2004 by two visionaries, Nemish Shah and Parag Shah. A strong re action against the rigidity, aridity and empty formalism of a syllabus-bound educational system led to a journey in pedagogic innovation. A desire was born, to enhance formal education with traditional knowledge through a progressive methodology. FLAME School of Business is anchored in the concept of liberal education and covers all areas in management sciences such as marketing, finance, organizational behavior, business policy, production and quantitative methods, and information technology. In addition, it covers areas in humanities, social sciences, foreign languages, creative arts and sports for a genuinely well rounded and wholesome development of students. The liberal education program caters to every aspect of a student's requirement for overall, well-rounded growth with the aim of empowering the individual to become a valuable and responsible member of society. Along with equipping students with all the skills necessary for a competitive environment, students also gain confidence and the ability to look at issues multi-dimensionally and engage with their surroundings. FLAME school of communication has been set up to meet the long-felt need for providing high quality education in the art and business of communication.
