Application Process

Students affiliated with partner institutions should be nominated by their home institution. The home institution should send the student’s name, email, year, major, and GPA to the Office of International Education.


After students are nominated, they should fill out the application materials included in the application packet. All application materials should be returned to the Office of International Education by email before the application deadline.  Students can find all documents in the Exchange Student Application Packet.


1. Application Form and writing sample in English
2. TOEFL or IELTS score, or 2 faculty references from faculty who can speak to a student's English proficiency*
3. Writing sample in English
4. Copy of Passport
5. Form FSA4 and Financial Documentation
6. Official Transcripts
7. Course Preference Form

English Requirements
TOEFL: 79 l IELTS: 6.5

*If students do not have a TOEFL or IELTS score, or if their scores fall below the Fredonia requirement, students must participate in a Skype interview with the Office of International Education to prove proficiency.
