The US government, as well as other foreign governments, offer students wishing to study abroad opportunities to apply for funding. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with the Office of International Education if they wish to apply for governmental scholarships. In many cases, the Office of International Education offers workshops or webinars on how to apply to these scholarships.
The Benjamin A. Gilman scholarship program awards students studying abroad for a semester, summer, or academic year.
