Student Engagement and Inclusion
Mission:
The Department of Student Engagement & Inclusion provides pathways for student involvement through activities and social opportunities that enhance leadership skills, reinforce responsible citizenship, and an appreciation for diversity. Students have opportunities to join student clubs, participate in volunteer and community service, leadership experiences and learn about themselves through their living and learning environment.
The role of our department is:
- To advocate for the needs of students
- To assist students in navigating the many layers of university services
- To encourage students to be responsible citizens in a Global society
- To promote and encourage a diverse and socially responsible learning community

The Campus Life office coordinates a variety of college traditions that promote Big Blue Pride, community and enhance campus activities by collaborating with offices across Campus. We develop and support initiatives like: Greek Life, Student Organizations, Leadership Opportunities & Campus-wide programming,

Student Association
The mission of the Student Association is to promote the general welfare of the students of SUNY Fredonia, enhance student life on campus, and represent the interests of the student body as Fredonia’s student government. Central to this effort includes: enhancing the campus community intellectually, socially and culturally through the funding and development of student organizations; representing students to the administration and all other external agencies when necessary; Defending students from unfair policies both on and off-campus; and providing students with an open forum for discussion of all topics.

Intercultural Center
The Intercultural Center (IC) is a student support center that serves a hub for inclusive programming. The IC collaborates with various campus & community stakeholders, to provide programming, and support. The IC is primarily supported by the following offices: Multicultural Support Services Veteran & Military Affiliated Students Native American Consortium

Speak with a counselor about concerns, get help problem-solving, and learn more about counseling services at the Fredonia Counseling Center and other resources available to you at Fredonia. Let's Talk consultations are FREE for Fredonia students and are offered first-come, first-served. (no appointment necessary) Drop in sessions are confidential and informal (not intended to be a substitute for traditional counseling) - your Let's Talk counselor can help you determine whether formal counseling at the Fredonia Counseling Center would be useful for you and, if appropriate, assist you in scheduling an appointment.
Drop in Consultations are available on Wednesdays from 12-3pm in Williams Center S212 or on Zoom from 3-4:30pm (check out the Let's Talk page for more info about Zoom)
