New Student Information: Fall 2024
Welcome to Fredonia!
If you have been accepted for the Fall 2024 semester, housing applications will be available on March 7, 2024! If you are having trouble accessing the application, please e-mail Residence Life.
Please follow these instructions very carefully as you complete the online application for housing. Your housing assignment will be based on this information, and the date of submission of online application. You MUST complete the application if you are requesting on-campus housing.
Applications are available on March 7th and are available 24 hours after you have paid your deposits. To find your housing application, please follow these steps:
Log into YourConnection
Under the Students tab, please select MyHousing (please note that you will need your e-services login information).
Along the left side of the page you will find a link that says Apply Now! Click that link and then complete the application titled Fall 2024 - New Student Application
Please make sure to read each question carefully and answer truthfully.
Please note that we assign based on the date of your application and availability at time of assignment. We cannot guarantee you will get your preferred building. .
Assignments will be sent out via e-mail by July 26th. If you are unable to access the application, please e-mail RESIDENCE LIFE for assistance.
If you need to edit or cancel your application, you will need to click on the application and then select either Revisit/Update This Application (EDIT) or Cancel/Withdraw This Application (CANCEL!)
Roommate matching for Fall 2024 will be open from March 7th - June 14th. Please note that you must have completed the housing application prior to doing roommate matching.
Step-By-Step Instructions
Log into your MyHousing page
Select Room Selection --> Roommates/Suitemates
Select the upcoming term (Fall 2024)
Search for your roommate using Last Name and First Name.
If you cannot find your roommate, try searching by Last Name ONLY!
If you are interested in Gender Inclusive Housing, you will complete the Gender Inclusive Housing form instead of roommate matching.
Select the appropriate roommate and continue.
Remind your roommate that they need to confirm your request!
Students should be aware that the university reserves the right to change room assignments, consolidate rooms and close halls if it appears occupancy requests fail to fully utilize or exceeds the total number of spaces available.
Fredonia offers Gender Inclusive Housing areas in suite style buildings (Kasling and Grissom). In these communities, students are welcome to have roommates of different genders in the same room.
In order to be eligible, please complete the Gender Inclusive Agreement Form.
Please note that we have limited space in Gender Inclusive Housing for Fall 2024, but will work with students individually to find them a place that fits their needs.
