Stafish at Fredonia is designed to help you communicate academic progress concerns with students in your classes, identify resources that might be helpful to their success, and provide them positive feedback on improved progress.

Alerts/Notices you can send:

  • Attendance Concern
    • Use when a student has missed 2 or more consecutive classes; was attending regularly and now is not
    • An email is sent on behalf of the instructor to the student 
  • Missing Assignment/Low Test Score Concerns
    • Use when a student is struggling academically, but there is chance with support they could still pass the course
    • An email is sent on behalf of the instructor to the student
  • Consider Withdrawing from this Course
    • Use when a student is in significant danger of failing the course due to a number of factors
    • An email is sent on behalf instructor to the student and the student's academic advisor is notified
