Regional Vitality through Community Engagement


The Center for Regional Advancement of Fredonia strives to enhance our regional vitality through community engagement by connecting the talents, knowledge and passions of Fredonia's faculty, staff and students to community needs and opportunities.

The Center for Regional Advancement makes connections while embracing the value of "grow your own" which leverages the investment into local talent, local resources, and local organizations and businesses to meet to achieve regional vitality.

Fredonia and North Shore Arts Alliance Team Up to Incubate the Arts

(August, 2011) Fredonia and the North Shore Arts Alliance have joined forces to establish an “incubator for the arts” in Chautauqua County. The chief goal of the project, titled, The Chautauqua Partnership for the Arts and a Creative Economy (C-PACE), is to facilitate the development of a regional approach and economy within the arts and cultural community. Center, North Shore Arts Alliance, Sponsor Artists Workshops

(March 2012) Though a grant from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation, the CRA in partnership with the North Shore Arts Alliance hosted six workshops for local artists.
